Through the years…

1991

Little Drops', a Home for the Aged destitute, founded by Mr. Bovas Selvaraj & Edgar Jones Paul, was registered as a public charitable trust with Rs.1000.

1992

Fund raising activities to fulfill the objective of "Home for the Aged Destitute"

1993

Inauguration of an Old Age Home – Mother Teresa visits our Home.

1994

Launched Social Awareness Programs in Schools.

1995

Rehabilitated 4 young widows & deserted women – Mother Teresa visits again

Extension to accommodate 12 more inmates. Inmates strength : 26

1996

Completed community hall for elderly residents

Opened a branch Home at Sriperumbadur with 3 inmates.

1998

Inmates strength : 64

1999

Started a primary school to provide basic education for the poor children of nearby villages. 29 rural children benefited. Inmates strength : 72

2000

A new block was donated by S B O A School

An extension was made to accommodate 30 more inmates

School strength had increased by 57 students

Started vocational rehabilitation through a sewing unit for women in distress
